A project that examins the garden as a metaphor for a holy place. The garden as a symbol of a spiritual practice.

According to the Koran the garden stands as a metaphor for Paradise; a holy place, designed to strict geometric rules, where order is imposed on the disorder of wild nature.

It examins the relation between discipline and nature, and how meditation practice is seen as a discipline used to tend the ‘inner garden’.
